Get Inspired with TréChic Jewelry
When Mary Farag closes her eyes, creative ideas flood her imagination.
“Everything inspires me,” Farag, TréChic owner and designer, said. “Nature inspires me, cultures, colors, magazines and TV.”
Farag fell in love with the desert about six years ago when she visited Tucson. She moved to Arizona not long after, only having to convince her husband that sunny Phoenix was better than New Jersey.
When she lost her job as a graphic designer, Farag’s artistic personality lead her to designing jewelry
“By chance, I ended up in jewelry,” Farag said. “I wanted to make pieces and it evolved from there.”
Farag knew she had found her forte when her family and friends kept her busy by consistently ordering jewelry.
Word of TréChic’s big, bold, crystal jewelry success traveled fast, and Farag found herself walking down the runway after her first show at Phoenix Fashion Week last October.
Just recently, Farag began designing vintage pieces for Fashion by Robert Black in Old Town Scottsdale.
From a woman whose reputation has shot through the roof comes simple advice:
“Always, always have a positive attitude,” Farag said. “No matter how hard you fall, you must get back up again. You will always fail before you succeed.”
