EDUCATION: 2010
Fashion Educators, my name is Brian Hill, Executive Director of Phoenix Fashion Week.
Thanks for making fashion education important to your young fashion students.
This year marks the 6th Annual Phoenix Fashion Week, where our mission is Bridging Designers and Buyers while pushing Arizona fashion forward.
Our 3-day event features 12 complimentary fashion seminars, over 30 designer fashion shows and a shopping marketplace showcasing Holiday 2010 and Spring 2011 collections to a large network of students, retailers, celebrities, fashionistas, and media, primarily from the West Coast.
For the 3rd year, we will open Phoenix Fashion Week by hosting “Fashionably Pink,” a Celebrity charity fashion show, benefiting a great cause…Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Phoenix, at THE BEAUTIFUL W HOTEL. The featured designers will each provide one outfit inspired by the color PINK and will be worn by breast cancer survivors and celebrities. The fashion show will be followed by a silent auction of these PINK runway garmets as donations. Your school will be tied to the great work Susan G. Komen fights for to find a cure. Your attendance helps push Arizona, fashion forward.
To learn how your school can get involved, please contact Director of Education, Liz Riley, at 310.592.9130 or liz@phoenixfashionweek.com
My team and I look forward to your attendance.
