Today we feature Stacy Eden with Clutch Jewelry, one of our emerging accessory designers. Learn about her life, her work and other little known facts in today’s designer tell all post.

Bio: Arizona native with a BA in English from NAU where I studied metalworking and goldsmithing under Joe Cornett.

Where do you find inspiration for your collection?

Everywhere even when my eyes are closed.

Do you have any style icons?

Jane Birkin, Debbie Harry and Brigitte Bardot

Do you have any fashion secrets you can share with our readers?

If it’s not very flattering, don’t wear it.You will regret it.

For beginner designers, what are some tips for setting yourself apart from other designers?

Find a niche and work it.  If it’s not making money, it’s just a hobby.

What trend are you looking forward to most this season?

Fast food fashion–I would never wear it but I can’t stop googling it. Thanks Jeremy Scott.

Where are your favorite places to shop?

Goodwill, Savers and Last Chance. I’ll buy the legit designer stuff when I feel I’ve earned it.

Do you shop often to keep up with trends?

Nope.

Do you have any tips on prioritizing purchases or staying stylish on a budget?

Do you have an all-time favorite purchase?

What is your favorite part about being a fashion designer?

Answering a barrage of questions via email. 😉

What is one interesting, quirky fact about you that readers don’t know?

I’m learning to play the harmonica.
