Fashion Week Favorites: #ProjectBeauty at Neiman Marcus Scottsdale
Give a girl the right
heels beauty samples, and she can rule the world. No doubt local beauty lovers felt the same way at this past Wednesday’s ‘Project Beauty’ event hosted at the always fabulous Neiman Marcus Scottsdale. While guests sipped on pink spirits and nibbled on delicate lip and nail polish-shaped sweet treats, Neiman Marcus beauty specialists presented their favorite beauty products to stock up on for 2014! What’s more, male models from The Agency Arizona floated down the runway, with trays of each beauty product for guests to take home and test out!
Among the extensive list of spring must-haves, here were some of our favorites:
JO MALONE LONDON – Blackberry and Bay: The blackberry-infused scent in particular is bound to induce the always lovely reaction: “you smell amazing, what are you wearing?”
AMORE PACIFIC – Enzyme Peel: Having first tried this product a few years ago, it made me remember how amazing it really is. Made with green tea extract and bamboo, it comes as a powder that foams up with water and exfoliates….and it’s perfect for sensitive skin!
KATE SOMERVILLE – Exfolikate: Speaking of exfoliating…if you are looking for that “red carpet ready” glow, try this product by skincare guru Kate Somerville. Rumor has it, if your favorite celebrity has amazing skin on the red carpet, they’ve received a facial from Kate herself. Need we say more?
CHANTECAILLE – Neck Cream: Living in the Arizona desert, it’s important to remember to take care of our neck and decollete area. In fact, this area of your body shows age the fastest. Invest in a quality neck cream like Chantecaille to moisturize and repair.
BOBBI BROWN – Shimmer Brick: This product has become a staple in my daily makeup routine. It not only comes in a variety of shades sure to give you that coveted St. Tropez glow, the product also multi-tasks as an eye-shadow, highlighter and bronzer! (“Bronze” is my favorite)
