NEWS: CFDA Designers Team Up with Ebay to Create Wearable USB

Wearable technology made it’s big debut last fall at numerous fashion weeks around the world, including QR-coded dresses at Anna Sui and tweeting models down the runway at Kenneth Cole. In fact, fashion and technology merged in the ultimate way when Google Glass debuted it’s futuristic wearable computer on the Gents runway at Phoenix Fashion Week Friday, October 4, 2013 (left). Watch the video for the model’s point of view walking down the runway.

This fall, five American designers, including Mara Hoffman and Rachel Zoe collaborated with eBay and the CFDA to created limited edition wearable tech bracelets that double as USB chargers (right). Perfect for the on-the-go fashionista in your life, these bracelets are set to go on sale November 11 for $25 each at eBay.com/holidaycollective.

Each uniquely designed bracelet comes with an Apple adapter for iPhone 5 and 4/4S, which allows users to charge and transfer data from the iPhone or other devices.

*We want to know…would you wear this bracelet as part of your everyday style?
