DaVinci: Smart Hipster Meets Heritage Styling.


davinci 1DaVinci‘s “NEW VINTAGE” Collection is aimed at a current, hipster customer looking for vintage looks and retro cuts. Based out of Los Angeles, DaVinci was originally started in 1952 in California and was one of the first brands to use celebrities for product placement, including Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. “Being made in the USA is very important not only to the DaVinci customer, but the brand’s American heritage background,” said Vice President of Defiance USA INC, Ronel Calix.

DaVinci is also a celebrity favorite and has been seen on Two and Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and most recently, Mad Men.

After gaining exposure from their Thursday, October 4th show at Phoenix Fashion Week, DaVinci has worked to carefully brand their collection. “We not only gained awareness for our brand through press and fashion blogs, but made amazing connections and met the emerging designers,” Calix said. With their revamped goals to focus more on the hipster vibe of the collection, they are targeting a younger male demographic. With this, a new advertising campaign altogether was required and is set to launch any day. This campaign will include various forms of attention grabbing exposure, from celebrities to exclusive online partnerships and more! Perhaps one of their best plans for 2013 is securing prominent exposure and space at the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas in February, where they also attended last year.
