Style Villa unites Valley Fashionistas and Local Brands

On October 5-8, hundreds of fashionistas gathered at Talking Stick Resort for Phoenix Fashion Week. The prelude to the anticipated shows was the Style Villa, a shopping area that featured various local vendors who brought the sleekest and chicest of their collections.

The fabulous decorations and whimsical lighting was courtesy of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and PHOENIX Magazine. The glimmering streams of lights and rustic-glamour décor supplied an enchanted ambiance to the Style Villa. Fashionistas strolled through the indoor courtyard, peeking at the booths and delving into the racks of clothing and piles of jewelery.

“The Style Villa helped build traffic to our brand and introduced customers to our local business. It was great,” says Yaiza Brown, founder of Outlier Style. The other brands featured at the Style Villa included REMIX Watches, Savvy Boutique, Just Jane Boutique, Hourglass Apparel, and Dalica Designs.

Phoenix Fashion Week’s models also took a particular liking to the Style Villa. Model, Jay Jordan, was spotted rocking REMIX Watches in several colorways at once. The Style Villa was true to one of Phoenix Fashion Week’s many visions: merging customers to local brands.  It provided valley fashionistas with a chance to interact first-hand with designers. “It was awesome to discover new brands that I had never even heard about! My favorite part was supporting the local businesses,” 19-year-old attendee and ASU student, Marika Wilder, said.
