Weekend Style: What to Wear with Blue Bird Denim

Phoenix Fashion Week Media Team is excited to continue our new blog series, ‘Weekend Style: What to Wear”, where we ask talented local and national designers and boutiques for their best outfit picks to inspire your fashion ensembles each weekend! We will have a different post every Friday, featuring looks for both men and women, from casual to eveningwear outfits, to inspire you no matter where you are going! If you are a local boutique owner or designer interested in being featured in our next edition, email lauren@phoenixfashionweek.com.

If you haven’t already heard, Anna Friss is the genius behind Blue Bird Denim, a casual apparel brand that received the bragging rights and prize package that came with winning Phoenix Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer contest this past October. Friss took the time out of her busy schedule to break down some great outfit ideas from her line, whether you are heading to First Fridays or the Phooson concert at US Airways, you will look chic.

This denim on denim boho look doesn’t scream Canadian suite due to the different colored denim involved. The headchain and flare legged jeans give it an updated boho feel without looking like a total hippie.

This is a new take on the mod look with the headband, color blocking, skinny pants and a-line jacket.

Channel the drama of Russian fashion with an all black ensemble, showcasing a fabulous fur hat and sky high heels.

Roll out of bed in the chilly winter morning and still look chic! Pair a jumpsuit, sweatshirt and some cute booties for this effortless look.
