UNEEK Fashion Show at W Scottsdale, BAAM!

Get ready for some fabulous entertainment and fashionable humanity, as urban clothing company UNEEK Collection’s second stop on their ‘My Life My Brand Tour’ hits Arizona this Saturday at the W Scottsdale. This charity event will benefit Basketball As A Mission (BAAM), an organization founded to create new opportunities for underprivileged children through basketball camps. The night will consist of music by celebrity DJ Cedric Ceballos, along with live performances by UNEEK artist Lewis Hensley and Seejai. Vice President of Sales and Marketing for UNEEK, Kirk McClung, feels his company’s tour not only benefits their brand, but the fashion community as well. “I feel these events bring brand loyalty and awareness to the people. It helps the consumer bring the name, company and clothing full circle.

Generating positive energy amongst the fashion world is always a big goal of ours,” McClung said. There will be several fashion shows throughout the evening featuring styles from UNEEK, Pink House Boutique and local designer Bri Bridge, who will be presenting her summer party collection consisting of flirty cocktail and party dresses. Bridge is looking forward not only to the runway show, but to the event’s charitable vision. “Events like these are important for the fashion

community because it gives everyone in the industry a chance to network and grow their business. It also allows designers to market to a wide variety of potential clientele, and is a great way for the entire community to give back!” Bridge said. A special burlesque performance by The Sugar Babies will also be seen on the runway during the fashion shows. What’s more, guests can take pictures on the red carpet or shop local boutiques and vendors on the patio. Phoenix Fashion Week is excited to announce we will have our own vendor booth at the event as well, with giveaways and more!

Phoenix Fashion Week Executive Director Brian Hill feels this event’s charitable theme was a great fit for the organization. “Anytime that fashion is taking a humanitarian stance, we want to get involved. We love supporting young brands such as Bri Bridge, as she has focused more on the business side of her brand since being a past emerging designer at Phoenix Fashion Week. You also can’t go wrong with hosting an event at the W Scottsdale,” Hill said. Other sponsors for the event include Oxywater, StylePHX, Straw Management, RepYourCity and Sweet Salon. Make sure to take part in the night’s raffles and giveaways, as they will benefit BAAM.
