Fashion Rocks MIM Rewind : Media Team Reflects

Global fashion and global music came together in perfect harmony the evening of (Thursday March 31st) at the beautiful Musical Instrument Museum for Phoenix Fashion Week’s ‘Spring into Style’ series, Fashion Rocks MIM event. Over 500 fashionistas, educators, media, fashion bloggers and more braved the 90 degree temps to attend the event. Vitaminwater Zero was able to keep everyone cool with loads of tasty drinks handed out to the growing crowd throughout the night. The energy was palpable during the runway show, as each designer and stylists’ looks were more amazing than the next.

Dramatic makeup and rock n’ roll styling were seen at Fender with styling by Jai Anderson, while Black Russian Label featured lots of jewel tones and extravagant accessories styled by Jill Laine. Galina Couture featured romantic, avant garde pieces styled by Brian Swan and peasant girl/boho chic was the look at Mariska, styled by Shannon Campbell.

Phoenix Fashion Week’s Media Team also pulled off a well organized Media Meet and Greet with the designers and stylists before the show.  Fashion bloggers, fashion educators, media and more showed up for a Q&A with the talented professionals backstage.  There were a lot of photographers and media on sight snapping pictures, along with Phoenix Fashion Week’s own Media Team.  Here are some of our captured moments of the night, along with powerful quotes from the fashionable guests.
